The highest device in the series had some of its details leaked thanks to a leaked retail box packaging.
Realme 12 Pro+ Some Key Details Emerge
According to the new info revealed by the leaked retail box, the Realme 12 Pro+ has a curved AMOLED screen. The AMOLED display has a 6.7-inch diagonal with a Full HD+ resolution. The phone comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. Moreover, it has up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of Internal Storage. The model that leaked here is this highest variant. To those unfamiliar, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 launch was on the last year as a new 5G option from Qualcomm in the intermediary range.
Gizchina News of the week
This chipset comes with 4 x ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and 4 x ARM Cortex-A55 cores at up to 1.95 GHz. It’s a decent chipset for gaming and apps and is a decent step forward for the Realme-numbered smartphones.
Camera Details Revealed
Regarding the optics, the Realme 12 Pro+ will include a 50 MP Sony IMX890 main camera sensor. It’s the same 1/1.56″ sensor in old flagship smartphones like the OnePlus 11 and Realme GT3. The device includes a 64 MP OmniVision OV64B periscope portrait that came with OIS. It’s a very advanced camera setup for a mid-range smartphone. After all, we don’t often see periscope modules in this price field. The camera will offer up to 120x digital zoom.
The Realme 12 Pro+ will arrive on January 29, alongside the Realme 12 and 12 Pro. The devices will reach the mid-range market to compete with the recently released Redmi Note 13 series. We expect Realme to keep teasing them up to build the hype for fans.
