Google’s online store is now teasing a new drop. It’s not a new device, mind you, just a new color for the Pixel 8 Pro. It will become available on January 25 at midnight PT, and it’s called Minty Fresh.
It’s actually unclear whether this will be limited to just the Pixel 8 Pro (shown in the teaser), or if it will also make its way to the Pixel 8. We don’t have a lot to wait in order to find out, however.

The shade is, expectedly, teal/mint-like, some might even go so far as to call it green – or at least greenish.
If you’re wondering what that ‘paint’ spells, it’s “itsaliving”, an artist Google has a tie-in with for painting a mural in downtown NYC on – you guessed it – January 25. So maybe the new hue is meant to commemorate that occasion?
Regardless, the new Pixel 8 Pro is expected to be completely identical to the already released one, with the only difference being the color. We’ll have to wait and see if this new colorway will be limited in any way – in numbers or availability, for example, you might only get it from the official Google store. We’ll let you know when we find out more.
